Woodhouse Farm arranges short term holiday rentals of properties that they own. The Contract is between Woodhouse Farm and the Client. The Contract is entered into when Woodhouse Farm issues the booking confirmation form and at this stage the Client becomes subject to all the Booking Conditions. The Client should check the booking confirmation form carefully.
On receipt of 25% deposit, written confirmation of booking will be provided, with the balance due 8 weeks prior to visit. For bookings made within the 8 week period, full payment is required. Cheques should be made payable to R.J.C. and P.Skerrett.
Any cancellation made by the Client for whatever reason shall be in writing and addressed to R and P Skerrett Woodhouse Farm Upton Bishop Ross-on-Wye Herefordshire HR9 7UW. So long as notice of cancellation is received not less than 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the rental period, you will not be liable to pay any outstanding balance. However, if cancellation is notified within 8 weeks of the commencement date of the rental, you will be liable to pay the full balance, unless we are successful in re-letting. We recommend guests consider holiday cancellation insurance.
4 Changes of Date
Woodhouse Farm may consider a request from a client to change the dates of the booking after confirmation has been issued. Agreement will be given subject to the following conditions being met: i) the request is received more than 8 weeks away from the start of the booking and ii) the client pays an administration fee of £20 plus VAT
5 Period of Hire
Rentals commence unless otherwise notified at 4pm on the day of arrival and terminate at 10.00 am on the day of departure. For weekend rentals this is often negotiable. Your adherence to this is required to ensure the high standard of servicing of the barns.
6 Number of Persons using the Property
The accommodation is for the exclusive use of those listed on the booking form. The number of persons occupying a property must not exceed the maximum number stated in our information. Woodhouse Farm reserves the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not observed.
Should there be any cause for complaint during the occupation of the property it must be notified promptly to Woodhouse Farm and in case of serious problems confirmed in writing.
8 Breakages or Damage
The Client is legally bound to reimburse Woodhouse Farm for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs on demand. Your credit card number is required in the event of damage. Your booking is not secured unless you have completed this part of the booking form. An amount of £500 will be pre-authorised. This does not mean it will be taken from your account, only that your credit limit will be reduced by this amount. This will be cancelled should no damages be incurred. If damages are incurred up to this amount then it will be taken from the card subsequent to your visit and after communication with yourselves.
9 Care of the Property
The Client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair and condition and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning. A Platinum Cleaning Service can be arranged.
10 Adult Requirements
There are ponds and a stream at Woodhouse therefore we request that children are kept under constant supervision in those areas.
Woodhouse Farm shall not be liable to the Client or third parties for any accident, damage, loss, injury expense or inconvenience, which may be suffered, incurred, arise out of or in any way connected with the rental. If the property which the Client has booked becomes unavailable or unusable for some reason prior to the date of a booking, then Woodhouse Farm’s obligation will be to use their best endeavour to find a suitable alternative property or to reimburse the Client for any monies paid.
Woodhouse Farm does not warrant and is not responsible for the accuracy of any verbal information given or statements made by its servants or agents.
13 Right of Entry
Woodhouse Farm shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
We treat any data collection during the course of making bookings or dealing with enquiries in strict confidence. Your data will never be sold. As members of Premier Cottages (a marketing collective of the best four and five star cottages in the UK) we have agreed to supply to Premier Cottages Ltd the names, postal and email addresses of all guests booking with us during the previous year, in order that these guests may be sent a Premier Cottage brochure and sent promotional emails from time to time. We also provide them with email addresses of guest enquiries. By accepting these terms and conditions you are indicating your consent to receiving these communications unless you let us know otherwise, which you can do at the point of booking by ticking the Marketing Notes box at the bottom of the booking form. If at any time you would like your details removed form this list all you need to do is click the unsubscribe link on any of the emails or contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange for you to be removed form the database.
